The Grand Vision isn't "Just Another Plan"
The Grand Vision was designed from the very start to invite the residents of the six-county region-who know the communities and the land-to shape our future together. Through citizen input at workshops, the website, and numerous public forums, our values and priorities for the region have energized and driven the Grand Vision process. And because of the high degree of public involvement, residents will see results! The Grand Vision is different. It has been supported and guided by many, many community partners (see list below). It is regional in scope. It has the backing of local, state and federal units of government. It is using state-of-the art planning tools. And most importantly, it will produce real results for years to come! The Grand Vision has been made possible with the continuing support and participation of the following partner groups who have provided funding or significant in-kind support to The Grand Vision:
